The Children’s Room

The Children’s Room is located on the bottom floor of the library. It offers fiction and nonfiction books from birth to middle school age. Computers, audiobooks, book/CD read-a-longs, magazines, and books on parenting can also be found in the Children’s Room.

How to get a juvenile library card:

Children must be at least 5 years old to get a library card with a parent or guardian’s consent. The parent/guardian must have a picture ID and proof of address such as a piece of mail that has gone through the post office, a car registration, or a bill. Library cards must be renewed every year. Rumford, Bryon, Roxbury, and Hanover resident’s library cards are free, all others must pay $10 for a juvenile card.
